Zero-carbon future through smart thermal comfort solutions

Hydrogen pioneer – helping Europe seal the green deal.

BDR Thermea Group manufactures and distributes smart thermal comfort solutions in heating technology with a near-zero carbon footprint. The international company has been developing hydrogen for use in heating technology for years. In 2019, they piloted the first 100%-hydrogen boiler in a real-life application in the Netherlands. In the UK, they participate in the UK Hy4Heat programme. Projects in Germany are in preparation with local partners. The domestic fuel cells are being prepared to be powered with hydrogen.

Recently, BDR Thermea Group has joined the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance to support the European Commission developing a globally competitive hydrogen industry by 2050.

Remeha and SenerTec – energy transition becomes a reality.

In Germany, Remeha and SenerTec as part of BDR Thermea Group stand for unique expertise in combined heat and power and fuel cell technologies for heating systems. With joint projects, both brands are pioneers in developing innovative solutions that deliver heat and electricity saving CO2 emissions and making system owners independent of rising electricity costs. Whether it is in a new or existing building, Remeha and Senertec deliver future-proof solutions for every individual heating system and actively shape the energy transition.

In this context, both companies are participating in PACE, an important EU project that promotes the use of fuel cell heating. The aim of the initiative is to draw attention to the potential of fuel cell systems for decarbonising the buildingsector. An important step on the way to green buildings!

BDR Thermea has its head office in the Netherlands and its global brands like Baxi, De Dietrich, Brötje, Remeha, SenerTec, Chappée and Baymak focus on strong local presence and support for installers.
